CALL FOR PAPERS
The Institute of Legal Ethics is a Consulting and Research institution devoted solely to ensuring the trans-generational passage of values in the field of law, ethics and education to the present and future generation of scholars and under the registration of DOYEN LAW PUBLISHERS LTD. Disturbed by the dwindling value system and ethical obligations of lawyers in Africa, the Institute seeks to ensure sustenance of the ethics and values of the legal profession in Africa towards economic and political developments. As a result, the Editorial Board of the AFRICAN JOURNAL OF LAW, ETHICS AND EDUCATION [ISSN 2756 – 6870] is currently accepting scholarly and well-researched papers in the field of Law, Ethics and Education for publication periodically and especially on quarterly basis. Manuscripts could include articles, case comments/reviews and book reviews. Manuscripts should STRICTLY not exceed 6000 words.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Manuscripts submitted for consideration must not be under consideration or peer review or accepted for publication or published elsewhere and, if accepted, it should not then be published elsewhere in the same form of its publication in the AFRICAN JOURNAL OF LAW, ETHICS AND EDUCATION.
- The title page, information about the author, institutional affiliation and email should be on a cover page as a separate document. The authors’ names should appear centred under the title.
- Manuscripts must be clearly written in UK English and should be submitted in electronic format in Microsoft Word to editor@ajleejournal.com
- Submitted manuscripts will be subjected to plagiarism tests through the use of Turnitin and Grammarly in compliance with the Guidelines of the Editorial Team.
- Manuscripts should also be accompanied by an Abstract, which summarizes the Manuscript in not more than 250 words. The abstract should clearly provide a background, the aim and objectives of the article, the manuscript’s main argument and relevance to contemporary legal issues and its finding(s).
- Manuscripts should be well referenced in footnotes (not endnotes) and must accord with the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA 4th edn) available at www.law.ox.ac.uk/oscola
- Papers for submission in form of articles, case reviews and comments are submitted on a rolling basis and published on a quarterly basis.
